Justice and Asia Lightning Talks: University of Notre Dame

Faculty and students will present their research findings on Justice and Asia in a fast-paced panel discussion preceding the 2026 Justice and Asia Distinguished Lecture.

Liu Institute Faculty Fellow Jessica McManus Warnell, Rex and Alice A. Martin Faculty Director of the Notre Dame Deloitte Center for Ethical Leadership and Managing Director of Research Strategy, Operations, and Engagement, will moderate the event.

Mark Johnson will present on his project “Illustrating Climbing Gold Mountain: An Illustrated History of the Chinese Experience in Montana.”

Sponsored by the Liu Institute for Asia and Asian Studies, this event is free and open to the public.
